Austin passes policy to spur affordable housing units near light rail

The Austin City Council passed a policy designed to spur the inclusion of more affordable housing units near transit corridors and the planned Austin light rail route. But there are concerns this policy could make it more difficult to make projects near transit corridors to make financial sense.
